I'm a bit bored today and I was trying to figure out how many MLS matches I've been to. I've been a Metrostars season ticket holder since year 2 and I've been to the large majority of home matches, plus internationals, over that time. Anyway, here are my MLS attendance stats:

    # of MLS matches: 100+
    # of MLS Cups: 1 (2000)
    # of MLS All Star Matches: 2 (1996, 2002)
    # of MLS stadiums: 4 (RFK, Giants, Foxboro, Gillette)

    What’s yours?

Wow, you all have put me to shame. Here are my meager numbers.

    MLS Regular Season Matches: ~50
    CONCACAF Championship Cup Matches: 3
    Open Cup games: 2
    MLS All Star game: '03
    MLS Cups: '03
MLS Stadiums (Spartan Stadium, Rose Bowl, HDC, Kansas City)

    Extras:
    USNT games: 4
WUSA games: 0 (although I attended 2 WUSA-MLS doubleheaders, but I did not see either WUSA game)

I would be afraid to compile a similar list of college football games and stadiums.

I pale in comparison. But keep in mind that I have a job, 2 kids 5 and under and live 3.5 hours away from Dallas. Even so, I still suck:

    MLS preseason: 1
MLS friendlies: 1 (Burn v Austin Lone Stars 1997)
    MLS regular season: 30 +/-
    MLS All-Star Games: 0
MLS playoff: 1 (Dal v Col Game 3 Sept 2002)
    MLS Cup: 2 (MLS Cup 1999 & 2002)
    USOC: 0

MLS Stadiums (MLS games only): Cotton Bowl, Foxboro Stadium, Gillette Stadium, Dragon Stadium (which one of these does not belong?)

    Bonus:

2 US National team games. vs Bolivia at the Cotton Bowl 1994 and vs Mexico in Houston May 2003.

    World Cup Finals: 5
US Open Cup: 0 (so sue me.)
    WWC Finals: 12
    Washington Freedom: 15
    non-US Int'l Friendlies: ~5
    Olympics: 7 (both 1984 and 1996)
MLS Staduims: RFK, Mile High (RIP), Crew Stadium (Great place!)

What I really would like to see is a regular league game in another country with a big league. Unfortunately, our vacation time (summer) is also theirs.

    I'm embarassed!

    I have only been to........

    1 match ever!

Just started following the MLS this year and football 2 yrs ago, the Premiership. Hey, you gotta start sometime. I'm planning on attending a few matches next year, at least.

My wife got me Fire vs. Crew tickets for Sept 6,
1-1 draw. Fire played like poop.
