How long can our soldiers withstand the psychological pressure?

    Well, we lost another soldier today. And in general, there seems to be growing unrest.

    My concern is, how long, given the heat, the uncertain nature of the war now, all that stuff, how long till one of our boys freaks out and commits an atrocity. Yeah, highly trained, blah blah blah. But it's gotta be awfully tough for those kids over there.

    The soldiers doing the job of policing frequently say "this isn't the job I was trained for" and they are right. Which is why would should have trained them for that job as well. The US military is well equipped to fight wars, but it is not equipped to end them.
