if Camacho was a portuguese coach, with this results he would be fire long time ago. Jaime Pacheco mention these week his waiting for a telephone call from a top portuguese club, I think its the time, for Benfica to make the call.
Jaime Pacheco is a great coach. At some point you need to hold the players accountable. It's not just the coach. I don't Pacheco could of dome better this year. In the last several seasons you have axed 2-3 coaches that's the problem. Maybe there is more to the problem than just coaches.
Camacho was the best thing that happened to Benfica. It's not Camacho's fault what has been happening. I was watching the game yesterday, Benfica should of won by 3 or 4 goals, the ball would hit the post or crossbar but wouldn't go in. Then an unfortunate injury to Argel forced him out and the rest is history. It's really hard to explain. I guess it's bad luck. They've had alot of injuries this season, which the coach can't do anything about, plus they have 12-13 good players, but thats it, the bench is weak. Camacho is working with what he has. I'm not a fan of Portuguese coaches either, so I don't want to see Pacheco their. Atleast Camacho doesn't complain about the refs like every Portuguese coach does when he looses points. It's time for Benfica to stick with a coach for more than one season, and try to build a team around good young players.
