    That's no fun! :)

They should advance out of the group stage. After that it's a crap shoot. It depends on the draw. I don't think they're quite at the level of Real, ManU, or the top Italian teams, but anything can happen in a two game series. My guess is they'll make it to the Q-finals.

They can win it all with some luck. They will make at least the quarterfinal.

Again, Elber should be gone. They must find someone who can fit in.

well, Elber is a little bit underrated, i think. he is top scorer of the bundesliga (without penalties). In my opinion bayern is right to stick ith him for at least one more year. Elber want's to leave bayern with a champions league succes.
bayern will buy a top-striker to replace elber. maybe its Makaay (he is dutch, so i really don't want to see this cheese-head in bavaria!).
With Ballack, Deisler, Scholl, Lizarazu, Salihamidzic, Ze Roberto and Roque Santa Cruz all fit again, they will have a good shot for the trophy.
    i HOPE so...

I think Elber could be the key. Even if they find someone as good, the team needs to adjust to the new guy.

    no...
    - 2 Dutch players
    - Huub Stevens was a very successful manager
    - Schalke wants another Dutch manager now (Henk Ten Cate?)
    - Schalke has many Dutch fans

next years champions league setup is different with only one group stage.
I believe that Bayern will get past the group stage .
But its anyones guess how far they will get in the knockout phase. They could land a tough draw and get knocked out in an earlier round.

But overall they aint a bad bet for reaching the last 8.

    Bayern has Ballack.
    Whats Zidane compared to him?

The only problem will be that they think they will beat every other team easily, like this season.

Zidane compared to Ballack is rubbish! People underate Ballack just because he's German! You all know its true. I haven't ever seen Ballack play crap unlike Zidane who often plays shi*.
