How does the MLS Shootout package work?

I have DirecTv and I am planning to purchase the MLS Shootout Package. Here's my question. Are games with the same start time shown at the same time on two channels? Are there replays of the games throughout the week, or is each game shown once and that's it?

    Please help me.

    Games are shown live.

No repeats that I know of.

5 channels are allocated for MLS matches, with up to five shown at same time. On a typical Saturday, the ESPN game will in the afternoon w/ the four other matches on Shootout. Usually w/ 2 in eastern time zone, one in cent time zone & one out west.

The Shootout really makes me wish there were 16 or more MLS teams so I could surf more channels!

    Couple questions:

    1) How can you get ahold of a schedule of the games that are guaranteed, because the schedule on directv.com is still blank.

    2) They show all games, or just games where the local team has TV coverage and they pipe in that channel. Because I recall a game in DC and Colorado last year when even the DirecTV customers in KC couldnt get our game.

In past years on digital cable AT&T sent me a schedule of games at the beginning of the year for the whole season (excluding playoffs). We'll see if Comcast does the same.

They pipe in the local coverage, whatever it may be. In the past if there has been no local coverage scheduled, no coverage comes with the Shootout. Rumors this year are saying that MLS/SUM is trying to negotiate for all games to be covered for the Shootout, even if there is no local coverage.

While not technically part of the Shootout, if a game was carried live on one of the Sports Pack channels, they often show replays, which are not blacked out. No guarantees though (and you need to sub the SP to see OOM RSNs).
