In Brazil in the eve of a match, there will be reportings interviewing the players' families and girlfriends. A lot of cheesey and sentimental crap. There will also be reporters among the local community from the country that we're going to play against (there's no single nation that doesnt have nationals or descendants in Brazil), to see who are they going to support. They will also be looking foward the opnions of the fans on the streets and gathering to watch the game in crowds. When the reports have something to do with football, there will be statistics and talk about previous and historical encounters in and outside the World Cup, no matter how long ago it was. Now, real talk about the actual pre-match situation and expert analysis, very little. How is it in your country?
Well there's a talking prorgram (barend en van dorp) that used to be primarily sport but (being the most popular talkshow in Holland) has become a talkshow with all kinds of different people in it. They usually have a special at tournaments where they move to the place the tournament is held. They talk with players, coaches, everything. The show is on every day and primarily focusses on the Dutch team. They have something different everyday. Reports from certain streets where people all chipped in to make it an orange jungle and stuff like that. It gets a lot of viewers and it's basically just a fun show.
