I haven't seen him play, I'd love for someone to share thoughts on why he's a good signing.

Perez is very correct, we should NOT pay 60 mill for a player out of contract nex year.
I feel 30 is a respectable amount, we signed Camavinga for 30, Kroos for 25-30.

If the deal is not right, its not right, simple as that we should not be afraid to walk away, if the player wants to come here like Jude, Cama and Tchou did, he can wait out his contract.

Lets be real here, if we had 0 interest in the player his price would be 25-35 mill right now, maybe even less given his contract situation.

Why should they agree to drop the price?

Hazard was bought for a 100...

I doubt Perez will do a stunt like that ever again.

Madrid's reputation among youngster's is as high as can be right now. So the team has the ability to walk away from overpriced deals and still get the player in the end.

Camavinga 2 years later was bought for 30 ME. Yoro is more closer to Camavinga than what Hazard was in PL. Lille can't afford to lose him for nothing. Chelsea was one of the richest clubs in the world.

If Hazard, Coutinho etc are reference, we'd have to overpay for every signing including Bellingham, Camavinga etc.

40 m Euro it's a fair offer for him, although we need a DC without doubt.
    cannot count on Aalaba\Militao.

In your opinion, in many others including mine Eder is just as good as Rudiger and has shown that already
Neither have I and so would I

So much for preferring Madrid. Most likley, he will go where his agent tell him to.

This isn't true unless we don't actually really want him.

I mean, in order to sign the player we have to agree with his club, if we can't do that we rely on the player holding out to join us after his contract is over. That's absolutely basic stuff.

Apparently if we want the player it magically wills the club negotiations away.

We're at a time where the free transfer is becoming a common place tactic but these things often come in trends, it will only take one high profile player having a serious injury during a contract year for the narrative to shift back to job safety.

His club wants more than the 60ME he's valued at lol. No chance, not when his contract expires in 2025.

If he goes to PSG, its because a) PSG offered the club the money they wanted b) he wanted to join them

And then we move on if that is the case

If the player is really keen on joining RM, Lille can't stick to crazy demands. Seen this unfold with Courtois, Camavinga, Thiago, Lewandowski etc. We sold Varane for a reasonable sum in similar situation too.

No way Lille will be like we will rather lose him for free than 40 ME now. They don't have that kind of financial muscle.

    3 postions for 6:
Modric(if sign), Valverde, Arda, Camavinga, Jude, Tchouameni will be our MC.

The Modric renewal makes a lot more sense. But this is a huge loss to the midfield.

Depends on the player. He might wanna stay and see out his contract like Isco, Mariano etc.

I wouldn't move Arda back to the midfield They will probably promote either Nico Paz or Mario Martin.

Yeah.. you can't replace player like Kroos. Would be interesting to see how midfielders will adapt

Maybe we will promote Paz. Don't see the need of another midfield signing. Club probably looking to sign Mastantuono for the future.

Modric reducing salary to half apparently and Kroos retiring. So that's 30 M gross wage reduction for the club. Mbappe apparently gonna earn 15 ME nett (30 M gross) on top of 100 M signing bonus spread over 5 seasons.
