Yep, I think he stays one more season. Brahim and Guler will be more affected by Mbappe's arrival at first.

Ceballos before the injury was a good fit but he hasn't looked the same so definitely need to see what's going on there.

    Rodrygo is forcing his stay.

I don't know how a 433 will work with Jude playing between the lines..

    A Bielsa-style 3313 that looks like this:

    Carvajal-Militao-Rudiger
    Valverde-Tchou-Cama
    Bellingham
    Rodry-Mbappe-Vini

    Doesn't look so bad.

    Never happening, of course.

We say they sold for cheap for but did they really? I’d hazard a guess there were a lot of back handed payments going on, given City’s current record.

Unpopular opinion but I can definitely see Jude being pushed back into the midfield with an Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo attack.

Rodrygo staying for one more season is a win win for RM. We will have great depth next season even if he's in a rotational role. Also who knows how long Vini will tolerate La Liga not doing enough against racist slurs in Spanish stadiums. It's been 2 years now.

Rodrygo leaving this summer and Vini asking out in 2025 would be catastrophic. So having Rodrygo at RM in 2025 summer is good.

Rodrygo staying for a season to see how things shake out is good for us.

He's also had shit games at LW too. He had his breakout supersub role at RW too. The position does matter but I still think it's mental.

We said this a couple of years ago too but with as much attention as Mbappe and Vinicius are going to get from opposition defenses, Rodrygo should capitalize and use his lethal finishing by getting into great attacking zones, he can really feast if he tailors his game to compliment the other 2.

As amazing as he performed on the weekend, it's also worth mentioning that when Vinicius was out for weeks Rodrygo played on the left side every game and did not have performances like Sunday. He works really hard for the team which i appreciate. Vinicius and Rodrygo seem to genuinely love the club which goes a long way with me.

This has been "JUST IN" like 20 times. Genuinely interesting how people can say quite literally the same thing with slightly amended wording and get away with it being classified as news.

Just tell them what you have already decided and let the circus start already. I guess the agent is trying to play it so he can get the biggest deal for his client.

A lot of smoke, there has to be something going on. I hope we scouted the right guy for the future. I have no clue how good or not good he is but the club has made a bunch of good decisions in the recent past when it comes to player acquisition so i am gonna trust that they're banking on the right young player.

It will not be the 433 we had with CKM.
More like a 4213 with Bellingham in the hole but with more tracking back.

I am not worried about Bellinhgam, he will find a way, he is just too versatile not too succeed. His runs from deep also may be more effective because the defense will have to pay attention to Mbappe making runs ahead of him.

The formation will probably have little impact outside of the big games. The talent alone in the squad should be able to win games against the bottom 2/3rds of LA Liga regardless of formation.

The team might be more effective if Bellingham plays behind the attackers, but I am not sure what the front 3 will be next season.

It’s mind boggling that Camavinga won’t be a starter next season. He’s probably one of the best talents in MF and he can’t supplant Fede/Kroos…. Unbelievable.

He's started over twice as many games as he was on the bench for and missed 2 months of action with a knee injury (November - January).

The only reason he got those some of those starts is Tchoumeni was deployed at CB. He’s also played at LB for 3 of those starts.

How’s he going to start next season? Kroos, Fede and Bellingham are not going to be benched by Carlo.

So Cama is on the same boat as Valverde was for multiple seasons? What's the problem?

He's a 21 year old that has started more games than he's seen the bench for on one of the deepest midfields in Europe.

I'll be quite honest here: Stop being a fan boy.

We're getting quality minutes out of everybody, cry me a river.
