This.Joselu doesn't need to be RVN to think Icardi with garbage attitude is not needed at RM. Joselu scored good number of La Liga goals with Espanyol. 5 for RM so far. If he gets to double digits as rotation player, it's a positive return.

See here's the difference. You're actually hoping Sancho somehow turns up being worth 100 mil. for us like he once was, i thought the whole Icardi situation might have been us bringing him over as a guest appearance like a Huntelaar or Adebayor who most have already forgotten that they even played for us.

Very well played. We win...Barca draw. Rodrygo is back.

Squad is so thin up top though...just saw an image of Rodrygo icing his knee....argggh....

Seems Modric is also injured apparently.....arghhhh

Joselu is going to have to dig deeper. Today was a bad performance by him.

    Need Brahim back asap.

Brahim was just a stomach issue. He'll probably be back for midweek.

Rodrygo probably gave him a body shot with the right uppercut to make sure he plays. :ROFLMAO:

Release clause of 40 million? Call Xabi and tell him to bring Jeremie with him

I'm beginning to doubt Xabi or any other top-tier coach will be hired in the summer, all of them will come with demands and Perez doesn't want that..Carlo is a good man, no CF/RB/CB? No problem, the squad is "complete"..

This is legitimate consideration. The club's fondness for Carlo goes way beyond his management on the pitch, he has always been a reliable company man and since the club is now in the habit of going into seasons without addressing a position of need completely, Carlo's traits become even more important. Other coaches might not be as easy to work with. When i read rumors about Xabi wanting to stay another season in Germany my mind does wonder if his unofficial talks with the club regarding the squad for next year left him a little unsure. That's just speculation on my part tho.

Probably just answered your reasoning why he’s close to a new 2 year deal.

Current standings in Spain and Europe and being a top 2/3 side in Europe next to City and Bayern.

Right now, today, the facts are the facts, even with all the injuries, but get ready for even if a minor stumble occurs, then, riot…

The current board likely feels assured in their judgment about the team's requirements, and I believe the manager, CA, is particularly receptive to their views while also adept at handling the players' personalities.

If we keep Carlo, can we get Zidane to be co-manager?

All excellent things as far as managing is concerned. Carlo is one of the very best. Just on the strength of La Decima he is a Madrid legend.

Every top tier European football club has always been three straight bad results away from crisis.

Don't act like this is unique to Madrid.

Alot of things Carlo is being criticized for Zidane did just the same.

Zidane got his education under Carlo.

Disagree, Zidane seems to be better at setting up the defense and preparing for big games. I also prefer his in-game management. Seems to know just what the game needs.

The issues people have with the lineups were there under Zidane as well, playing veterans over young players, lack of rotation, etc.

And of course, whenever a new coach comes in fans will have issues with him as well, whatever they maybe, that aspect of fandom does not ever go away, no matter who's the coach, bottom line is everyone is happy as long as we win, when we don't, issues, normal....

Mbappe was looking very average last night....looked a few kilos heavier, a step slower and short of ideas in a crucial CL game....

Dembele of all people is carrying PSG's attack at the moment along with Hakimi.

A bit concerning for our number 1 target.....
