How do I use the patches for WE7?

    I have recently downloaded a patch for WE7, I want to know how to use them. Right now, they are on my desktop. I am new at this, so I need some help. I know this is simple most likely, but I just need a kickstart. Thanks.

    I need to know for the PC version. Thanks to AstaboOt
    for the Web site. I am trying to help out a friend that
    has the game. I have never actually played the game.
