I watched it alone and i was pissed. Just curious, how well (or bad) did people take the lost where you were?
I spent alot of time explaining how overtime works. Alot of people thought it was over when Ghana scored in extra time.
Held back anger tears here. It was silent as we all left the pub I was at. The vibe was heavy, like walking in a haunted grave site in Charleston, SC.
The pub I was at, everybody just left. But I dont think they were fans of the die-hard type. The few that were decked out in USA gear had their noses in the bottom of their glasses, like me.
wow...im glad i wasnt at any publing viewings...just the thought of all those people having watched a freakn' miracle just to days prior...and now this...i hope they all give soccer a second look.
I watched it at a friends house, with a few friends........It was like someone let the air out of the balloon.......
We yelled "F**k" and "s**t". I thought there would be hope for a tying goal from what we've seen in the past few games, but knew that would not be the case soon after when all I saw was panicked, rushed play from the US with long ball after long ball.
After Gyan scored, my friends and i were screaming "please!" and praying to God and promising God all types of things. Then when we lost there was about 10 mins of silence as the reality of situation set in. Then we started cursing the names of Findley, Clark, and Bradley.
lol...pretty similar situation here man...only i was alone..as i said earlier i gave it time to settle in, then I just screamed some more..
