How big a difference does the weight of boot really make?

I suppose there is a difference. We are not running 100m in olympics, but
what are your experience in playing? any thoughts/opinion?

There probably is a difference but I can't say I know if it's large or small. I prefer a light boot but I dislike heavy shoes in any sport/situation (anything :p). I'm also a sprinter so that may affect my opinion on this.

there is only a slight diff. the vapors are extremly light and "feel quick". but you can get a regular 10 oz. boot like the F50 not much of a diff really. nothing noticable.

Its a very marginal difference, most of it is in your head.

Yeah lighter boots also give less protection usually, so maybe the inch quicker the boot has made you could cause you injury by the other player being late?

It is mostly in your head, suppose you are eating pasta before the night of the game and you leave three bites on your plate. on the day of the game, you notice that your are so much quicker because that pasta is not in your digestive track... you tell your teammates that it made all the difference in the world and that they should leave three bites of their pre game meals they would tell you to put down your crack pipe even though it is the same as quibbling over a couple ounces of leather. if 2.7 ounces of leather or Nike plastic is someone's downfall, they need to question thier fitness

lighter boots are probably better, but dont go for the fake material cuz they are light, get a good K-leather boot that is lightweight. sometimes, the KNG-100 is really light, but the boot's quality suffers, sometimes not. I prefer a good leather boot that is lightweight.

if you're looking for a cheap, kangaroo leather, light boot, try
Umbro Owen 10, I think it is, like 50 bucks
