Wow I mean he left guys completely unmarked on those two goals. At least he won't miss much time for FCD this year, I wouldn't call him back up after the performance last night. So even as FCD fans does everyone agree that he took a dump on the field last night?

yeah, he let his man get goal side on both goals. The second one was a flick on so it was harder to stop, but two times is still bad.

Nothing like throwing a guy who hasn't played a competitive game in 3 months into a USA-Mexico game against players in mid-season form who are better than anyone he faces in MLS. The way I see it, it's a great experience that will only help him with his club side.

you probably have a point there, but on the first goal he was so far behind he was tugging at the guy's shorts. Altidore scored and he's been out three months too, so maybe it was jitters from being in his first big game with the US.

Anyone know what the official call was on dempsey's goal that was called back?

Obviously he had trouble marking on the set pieces, but other than that I don't think he did bad at all. He got forward and supported the attack and he did a relatively good job on Vela. The dude is fast and Moor did a good job keeping him in check, even when Vela got past him he recovered quickly... unlike Corrales on the other side who just gave up bad fouls or couldn't catch up at all.

I don't know that Moor's standing has gone down as much as people think. He was and probably still is 3rd string RB behind Cherundolo and Spector (by 2010 some other people might pass him, such as Marvell Wynne)

just be glad he didnt have guardado pushing up on that side behind Vela. You wanna see a rented schoolboy against pure class, we got off pretty easy on that end. guardado pushing up like evra in tandem with vela would have been much worse.

True, but may have helped Landon make more of an impact, too. Like him or hate him, opposing defenses have to respect him.

Looks like Cherundolo's spot at right-back is safe for the time being.

It's a shame Moor struggled defensively on those two Mexico goals -- they've overshadowed his beaut of a cross for that USA goal.

Now we just need to hope Drew learns and grows from his mistakes on Wednesday.

You're right....he's very much alive. He's also a defensive midfield player who never gets to play there and has been shoehorned into a right back/center back situation to which he is not suited....

Yeah I forgot about the cross he sent in that was pure class. Maybe he can link up with Cooper like that once MLS starts up.
