Huss - we have a thread in the Business and Media forum for people complaining about soccer bashers. And I think that it is a good idea. How about the same idea for people complaining about ESPN? Especially since people think that every other live sporting event on ESPN that runs into soccer time should be stopped to show the soccer. It gets very annoying to be seeing these threads every single week. Or the ESPN conspiracy theories about not showing soccer highlights on SportsCenter.

This way people can go bitch and whine on a thread with a specific purpose.

    I second this idea.

If not, can we at least have a sticky thread explaining that (a) ESPN does not cut away from a live event and (b) ABC/ESPN is the only media outlet of any significance that's willing to show soccer?

    Not every live sporting event!

Baseball Hall of Fame inductions... soccer should've come first

Bonus coverage of college baseball.... soccer should come first

Women's Grand Slam Tennis.... I can live with this over run...

You must be part of the conspiracy!!!

It is now and always has been ESPNs custom to continue showing a live sport that has already been paid to be shown. They do the same when an MLS match goes into extra time. What really annoys me is that they put live MLS on ESPN2 while ESPN is showing a replay of Women's Bowling.
