Thepoll you gave the link to is skewed by the fact that many people assumed that Club America would be involved. This new poll is a more accurate reflection of the current situation but it is very lacking in that some names are left out like Houston Apollos.
Not really since two of the top three vote getters in the other poll aren't even reflected in this poll. FuzzyForeigner was lazy, he listed a bunch of names he thought by himself, instead of going out and getting a pulse of what was really going on. at least in the other thread/poll, you get an idea of what people actually want. Houston Apollos Their colors should be gold (actual gold, not yellow like c-bus) and sky blue. Think UCLA.
Someone in the uniform thread proposed Houston Locomotive (drawing on the city seal connection) Houston Independence isn't awful.
Houston Republic is fine, but Houston Rovers is better, because they can use the NASA Lunar Rover as their logo, and they can build a lunar rover mock-up that can pop a wheelie and do zero to sixty down the sideline, so to speak, after each goal. I would elect Houston Rovers or Houston Lunar Rovers. Either way, it pays homage ala FC Dallas to a British style name.
That looks awesome! GREAT job! However, I'm partial to either Apollos or Dynamos Eagles is good, though.
I think Houston Wanderers is app. I think that the Houston Clash would be cool (or atleast as cool as having a team named the Clash can be ), tie the team back to where it came from and all.
Either Houston FC or Houston Rangers. I like the sound and meaning of Houston Rangers, in which they can have hoops just like FC Dallas. This would create a rivalry, not only cause they both in texas but because they both are hoops. what do you think? i would love to see Houston Rangers!
