Since the Dynamo host the Whitecaps this Saturday, this is especially pertinent. I won't try to say our Supporters Groups SHOULD do this -- though I'm officially Texian Army -- I'm not in leadership of anything. I can only say I would love to see our supporters do this. If I live up to the moment I will make the drive from Austin this Saturday and be there to add my feeble old voice ....
I have no idea how this game is gonna go so lets just rub the rabbits foot and see what happens. At least I get to see Thomas Muller
Most important news is that Ben Olsen, in the post-game presser, said that Sammesouku was alert and expecting to be fine. I always really get concerned when they will not show a replay .... Great win against a top team in the league. Yes, I'm frustrated with having to lockdown low and counter attack at home, but that is a really good team that just beat handily Dallas on the road. I'm nothing but happy with that result.
Seeing a player being driven away in an ambulance is never something you want to see & it is wonderful to hear that the outcome is what it was. whew! The medical response team was as bad and pathetic as I've ever seen or even heard of. Absolutely no excuse. I have a family member that was THE director of 911 emergency response and can say with certainty that the performance by the emergency crew warrants a cancelation of contract and firing of personnel. I'm so grateful that Diadi wasn't needing cardiac work or resuscitation. Just the fact that players had to go grab the gurney and get it to Diadi is enough to fire that embarrassing group of fat bastards. Some times you just need luck to get a win and the lady was on our side that night. Them missing a goal in the opening seconds & their goalie getting a red sure helped. Even though we had to fight like hell against a 10 man team with a back up goalie, we got the goal off of a lucky defection and a bad goalie. It's good to be on this end of these type of games finally. What exactly are Lingr and HH supposed to do coming into the game at minute 84? They barely have enough time to sweat much less make an impact on the game. We had a team down to 10 men, here in this humidity and were clearly wilting yet Ol Ben refused to put in fresh legs until the end of the game. It sure looked like he was ok leaving with a draw. Bond with another clean sheet. Well done by the D to get this done. Resch looks like the real deal. His ability to pick off passes all the time is just so fun to watch. Great pick up for us. Guilherme. What. A. Man. Anyway we can make him the highest paid DP and give him a 4 year contract??? PS We are in 6th place with a -4 GD. Don't think that formula is gonna hold for the remainder of the year.
Great home win from the boys in naranja! On to the Open Cup versus St. Louis tomorrow night! DALE DYNAMO!!!
