    To add some texture to the point made about how good they are--

    Dynamo Total weekly payroll = $162,798
    Loons Total weekly payroll = $150,337

    Dynamo Total Annual = $8,465,510
    Loons = $7,817,521

    The Highest Paid Player at Houston Dynamo is Ezequiel Ponce (Centre-Forward) with an Estimated Gross Annual Base Salary of $2,560,000, or $49,231 per week. Ezequiel Ponce, who is 28 years old, has 3 years and $7,680,000 gross remaining with Houston Dynamo.

    The Highest Paid Player at Minnesota United FC is Robin Lod (Central Midfield) with an Estimated Gross Annual Base Salary of $1,500,000, or $28,846 per week. Robin Lod, who is 32 years old, has 1 year and $1,500,000 gross remaining with Minnesota United.

    Loons are #2 in the standings at 22 points w/ 19 goals
    Dynamo are #14 in the standings at 10 points w/11 goals

    I anxiously await the apologetics on why we are so much more poorer while spending so much more money. 30% or our payroll distribution is going to Ponce. PONCE! The guy with as many yellow cards as goals and assists combined! What a bust.

    @7seven7 There you go again. The king of negativity. The glorious Houston Dynamo are in a strong position to set records for lowest points in a season and win their first Wooden Spoon trophy and all you can see is negative.

    This ignores the sad reality that the Los Angeles Galaxy are going to likely keep us from another trophy AGAIN.

    I have faith. LAG will get their little Spanish talisman back before the end of the season. I've seen no indication the Dynamo intend to ever replace HH with a true Midfield game runner ....

    When a soccer team is hungry, plays with a purpose, runs for each other, then the door is wide open for earning points! Such was the display from last night by our naranja boys. They really went out of their way to defend their house and if anything, build some team confidence moving forward. The real test is away to Southern Oklahoma, and as Seven mentioned, on a quick turn around with little rest.

    DALE ETERNO BI-CAMPEON!!!
