TBH... I'd settle for playing competitively against F*C* Dallas. If we can hang with them... that's a step in the right direction. Damn near anything would be better than how we looked against them last year!

    This.

Unfortunately, based on how our defense played this last match, I'm going for 3-1 loss.

FCD is just better right now in all departments.

Castillo was injured yesterday, so that should help.

At least that 1st game got me more excited to see how this team progresses. Better than last year. New England is another team that has come in and beat us pretty badly in recent years, so we've already improved there. Curious what we look like in this next one? Hoping the injuries are not too much (that LB spot looks to be a revolving door all year as I'm predicting Beasley may call it quits after 2016).

My phone doesn't let me quote @Heft but I read online that Dallas expects Castillo to be recovered by game time and available.

I hope he is not fully healthy. And if he plays I hope he doesn't just use his speed and the referees sympathy to draw a red card against us.

is it not rare for these to be rescinded? I only assuming because i'm too lazy to dig up stats but I'd think it is. Hope the knee jerk refs get rescinded as well.

    PS

2% chance of rain? really? they can't get it right when it says 40% but some one has the confidence to narrowly define it down to 2%? Man i picked the wrong job.....

I can't see him being 100%, but his speed does bring a different dynamic to the game. I still think the real baller is Mauro Diaz, and I hope to see Alex Lima, and his agility in defense, back in a central holding role to keep tabs on Diaz.

i noticed OC losing his mind after the goal. I assume that he was disagreeing with the time keeping. After the goal and before the ensuing kick off, the forth official called the center ref over and OC got the boot. OC walked to just beyond the end of bench and watched the kick off. the game was called a few seconds later. Not sure if OC got into the head of the linesman or the fourth, but one of those felt "micro-aggressed". It must have been next to nothing that happened for it to be overturned. I can't imagine the league sticking up for the coaches unless they absolutely have to.

Maybe we can score more than them this time.

I want to see Cubo or Manotas for Bruin. Boniek or Manotas or Miranda for Barnes. Somebody for Alibaba.

But I know we'll see Cubo and Barnes there starting.

I'm counting on another Maidana-Wenger great performance, but my expectations are low. One of those few times that I would settle for a tie.

How do you know they aren't getting it right when it says 40%? A 40% chance of rain means that 4 times out of 10 it will rain and 6 times it won't. If it rains, then that was one of the 4 times, if it doesn't then it was one of the 6. Any prediction with a percentage chance other than 0 or 100 has to be right by definition.

Weather forecasts are a numbers game. They look at the current conditions and say "what happened the last time things were like this at this spot". For Saturday night at 7 pm with these current conditions ahead of it history says that about 2 times out of 100 it rained. So there is a 2% chance of rain.

If if rains Saturday night that is one of the 2. Still isn't wrong.

In other news the Bud Light beer garden is $38 bucks now??
I've only partaken maybe 3-4 times but I recall the first time at Robertson it was only 20 bucks and from there it went up year by year it seems and last season to about$ 30-35 to now $38?!
You would think they would give me you more than 2 small cans of bud crap or Crap-aritas and an upper endline seat for $38 each.
For $15 ($10 if you already own a cup) you can get three quality beers at 8th Wonder Brewery.

Yeah I understand that but the beers they give outside of the stadium are usually discounted through the sponsor (If they even pay) because of the Branding of the "Bud Light" Beer Garden and the appearance of the Bud Light girls. The beers are the small cans and the seats they give you are the cheap end lines that are usually empty. $38 for that??
