Houlliers 25 million summer!!!!

    Gerard Houllier will be given £25million in the summer as Liverpool bid to close the gap on the Premiership's top three.

    Despite financing the Frenchman's transfer activity to the tune of more than £103m, the Anfield board are prepared to sanction another significant outlay in their desperation to claw back Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

    They are committed to paying £ 14m for Auxerre striker Djibril Cisse and hope to generate additional funds for Houllier from player sales, Champions League qualification and ventures with finance specialists Hawkpoint.

    Anfield chief executive Rick Parry said yesterday: 'We are going to do everything we can to get to the top again. That is where we want to be. Getting there is the tricky bit, but it is something we are all aiming for...

    This isn't a liverpoolfc.tv story, so your link is incorrect (could the Sportsmail name used in it, I don't know :rolleyes: )

    Post the link first, then a teaser paragraph or two. Posting an entire article, with the link or not, is against the TOS, not to mention copyright laws, and can get you another card.
