Has anyone else booked there Accommodation yet? I've just done mine and it seems a lot of the rooms have already gone. I wanted to stay in Dortmund but i've ended up in Werl, it's only about 20 miles from the Stadium but it still would have been nice to have been in the City itself.
I booked all but 1 of 18 nights on the fifaworldcup.yahoo.com website by clicking the Accommodations button.10% down,20% August 1,30% December 15 and the balance on April1 or 15,can't remember.You'll receive a voucher for each stay so to avoid and credit card problems or carrying large amounts of cash.They answer any e-mails the next day and you'll receive a confirmation number.Rates are fair considering the event. Much more reasonable than Superbowl,Indy 500,Daytona 500 etcetera. The only downside I saw was minimum stay at some venues of 2-3 days.
