You forgot the part about how the stadium is so beautiful that, in order to share it with their fans, the LAG were going to let everyone in free for opening day.

Hadn't heard anything about that. Can't see that happening. I know I've paid (a ton) for my tix.

Yes, but just think of all the good you will do for the fertility in mice.

That is sooooo ***ING stupid!! LA fans will remain the sorriest fans ever, but this time their front office is helping them to become da sorriest. What a ***ing shame when you have to depend on the horns and not your VOICE. This is the dumbest FO i seen in my life.

Keep blowing horns, LA fans, but plz don't blow something else because you will get arrested if you blow something else in the stadium ;)

Am I the only person to take a look at the date of this press release, consider the source, and find it suspect? Or have I missed a whole thread o'Irony?

Hook, line and sinking. But catching a Flamer Fan isn't much to brag about.

"News of further giveaways and promotions, including a Fourth of July drum concert by the fans, has not been confirmed at the time of going to press."

I could almost live with horns...But if I see a drum circle anywhere near the stadium, that's it, I'm going Jihad...

I have a question.........do fans in Europe or South America NEED or WANT horns to make an atmosphere??

I think not, so why do we have to be given horns to CREATE an exciting soccer atmosphere??!!

If they want to give out a special promotion, what about FLARES?!!!

Those are VERY popular throughout the soccer world...........then again, it may not be such a good idea in the USA, especially in L.A.

Point is, we DON'T need or want horns to make the atmosphere at HDNTC!!!

We'll (the fans) DO it on OUR own, with our voices!!

I can't take all the credit, there were several in on it. But it was fun and even more fun when I saw that post this morning from the Flamer Fan above. :p

"It also makes things much easier for the fans. When something good happens, you blow the horn. When something bad happens, you blow the horn. Plus, the overall effect provides a soothing white noise effect, which scientists say increases fertility in mice."

April Fools on the left coast actually believe this?
    Make that fools. Totally.

    Surf's up, dude.

    Very, very well done...

The LARS board's reactions were even funnier. How long did it take them to figure it out :)

Most of the LARS board posts were moderators trying to play the hoax out. As soon as someone outed the joke their post was deleted or modified to allow us a chance to snare others.

Congrats, Gents... The "Protest" was particularly amusing.

    Must... start... the season...
