Looks to have a great burst of speed and a great change of direction. His field vision looks to be elite. His technique and craft on the finishes have been elite. One goal was a nice poacher's goal. 3 were with him getting the defense. A fifth was with him trailing the play. He has shown variety in the way he scores. 17 more league games to go. That should provide plenty of data points to gauge his potential.
If he can keep something close to this form up, he could fix Schalke's financial woes with his transfer fee alone over the summer window. And hell, maybe help them avoid relegation as well .
His contract expires in June. They're not going to get anything except some training and solidarity money. Teams not having to pay for him means he'll get an even bigger payday as well. He's in a great position because they can't bench him right now.
