driving this morning, i realized that although you guys may be scum ;), we're still soccer brothers....so just a thought for those who may live in the area of all this sick sniper sh!t going on.

i'm curious to get some insight on what the area must be like if any of you live where you'd be affected.....

if it affects you, my thoughts are with you...stay safe.

Thanks. Business as usual for me. This bastard isn't going to alter my life in any way. I will still pump gas where I normally go and I still shop and do what I have to do when I have to do it.

In the last day or two I've found myself thinking more about my kids away at school, but I'm not letting myself get too morbid. I work with people from all over the area, play pick-up soccer right downtown, and attend church near the most afflicted area; I intend to live my life the way I did before this moron surfaced and how I will after his brief span of darkness is done.

Thanks for the concern. We'll all be happy to get back to regular programming. I want the weekend soccer games to begin again, even if I do have chauffeur, clean up the field, and take down the nets.

Oh, and I still intend to take the Metro to my Ride On bus after Friday's BigSoccer gathering at Fado's on Friday.

No way I'll be getting behind the wheel. ;)

Haven't had a club game in two weeks because of this crap! Other than that, haven't been effected nor changed my routine. Still more worried about some Maryland or Virgina driver taking me out on my walk to work than this sniper. Or eating e-coli invested meat. Or freak accident at home. Or any other number of ways that I could get killed...

I feel sympathy for all the victims families and friends. As well sympathy for all the other victims murdered in the DC area while this has been going on (IIRC about 20 other murders).

Thanks Stinky. The Metros new shield and kits look nice. I'd still be happier if it weren't so similar to the Screamign Eagles shield, but it's all good. Big improvement over the last logo.

    Thanks stinky for your thoughts.

I haven't changed a thing about my lifestyle here, it just sucks when you go try to play soccer and the Park Police come to kick you off threataning to call the real cops if I didn't leave. :(

No soccer in two weeks is killing me. I had been playing really well and now I'm going to be rusty as hell next week when we get back going.

It's also been frustrating not to be playing under the watchful eye of college scouts in the last 2 weeks while kids in other states are able to play just fine.

Thanks Stinky. It's all over now. I want to see these bastards fry in the electric chair now. Actually, I take that back. What I really want to see si them put in prison forever, and shot in the gut every now and then. Shoot 'em, nurse 'em back to health. Then, once they're all better, they get gut shot again. But never let them know when it's going to happen.

Maybe we can amend the Constitution for Cruel & Unusual punishment when it comes to serial killers. Think about it, the government could charge PPV for the tortures and stuff, because you KNOW everyone would buy them, and they would make a boatload of money while at the same putting more fear into the hearts of potential criminals...just a thought.

Before they fry though, I'd love to hear the entire story. Motivation, planning, execution (sorry couldn't think of a better word here!) of the plan. These types of things intriuge me.
