that's an understatement. put a fake cast on her wrist and just show up, she could have done this from day one. she has gotten about 4 sweet sponsorship deals including 2 six fig long term ones since the WC. what stopped her from flying in, waving, signing with the good hand and flying out 4 hrs later. i enjoy all of the stuff she does, esp when she goes off, nothing offends me, but she has to support the league in these final weeks, doesn't have to play to do that. she is the #1 draw, just ask the companies calling her agent vs morgan and abby.,
About time she decided to grace WPS games with her presence. At least one reporter (via twitter, don't know about elsewhere) called her out for not showing up -- not that I think that had any impact on her decision making.

I think her cameo at the game is incidental. Sounds like she was in town (doing a photoshoot that I won't even talk about) and decided to stop in at the game.
Like I said, there seemed to be enough comments scattered in other threads about her not appearing so it seemed worth posting the news that she is appearing. But damn (and I'm not directing this at mrad12) we are becoming a hyper-critical,hyper-cynical lot here at BigSoccer.
I swear I saw on twitter that the game is being televised but now I can't find it. I will keep looking and post once/if I find it. Also does anyone else find Hope's comments about Dan a little strange? I thought since the players union filed a grievance and it stated it had all national players support she wouldn't be so overly excited to see him as to post it on a social network. maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Bah. Was this before or after news confirmations that England-Netherlands friendly cancelled due to London riots? I think that's what was supposed to be airing during the timeslot...
I did have a chat with some peeps at the FAU athletic deparment and they said they are working on getting two of the games televised. Whether that was for the playoffs or regular season, I do not know. Unfortunately they said there will not be any webcasts available this season.
