Hooper is still Choke Queen [somewhat R]

    Despite Riise's successful attempt to miss a PK today, Hooper is still the WUSA all-time Choke Queen.

    She owns that title.

    Hmmm... let's see... Hooper scored a goal and had an assist Saturday on opening day... she also, as captain, led the Beat to a record breaking game... (1) largest margin of victory, (2) Most goals scored by a team on opening day, (3) and an opening day home win for Atlanta.

    So, yeah, I see your point :rolleyes:....

    actually SD got that first last year against the Power.... but as a Power fan I'd rather forget BOTH games! :D

    Well... it's still a record for us! It's the Beat's largest margin of victory!!

    Sorry Kathy!! For what it's worth, NY played a damn good first half. I think the game had more to do with Atlanta being that good, not NY being that bad. The Beat played a totally different style of soccer...possession, more attack, incredible speed and each goal was scored by a different person! I can see having to concentrate on one person and shutting them down... but how do you stop a team with so many offensive weapons?? You don't. You sit back and be in awe!! :D
