I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!! Pep doesn't want games behind closed doors - he wants cancellations because..... football needs fans...... the ********ing irony of a Man City manager discussing fans at the half empty Emptyhad Stadium. Surely it has nothing to do with a certain 100 pt record, does it? https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...-force-premier-league-cancellations-guardiola
It’s an open game but Leipzig looks the more deadly intent of goal. Werner is a bit of a greedy lad, what? But very dangerous— seems to glide over the ground.
One is newsworthy, the other not. Tottenham out-pay Leipzig by far. With the exception of Bayern it is always David vs Goliath
The 3rd place Bundesliga side should have no trouble with an EPL side with half the points of the league leader.
Uhm relegated teams in EPL get more tv money than the Bundesliga champ. So the likes of Sunderland should have no trouble with Leipzig
It is a big factor. I didnt say it was the only factor. We know why Buli clubs had to come up with Klopp, Tuchel, Nagelsmann etc
Arenal-City postponed due to Corona and quarantined Arsenal players. Apparently the Olympiakos president have been diagnosed and some of the players met up with him. We wont get any help from Arsenal then so we have to win our two next games to put the title beyond doubt.
It's weird - not Roma - the plane has been refused clearance to land. I don't understand that however - given that all the Roma player have been tested and no no one is infected.
I still can't believe thousands of supporters from Madrid are allowed to travel to Liverpool when efforts are supposedly being made to contain this thing.
Yeah been watching this for the last few days... Spain just leapfrogged France for #5 worst hit country today.... https://www.coronatracker.com/
The response of the UK authorities seems rather strange but they probably know something we don’t. The chief government medical officer reckons the risk of transmission from football fans gathering in stadia isn’t any worse. And the authorities seem to want to delay total shutdown for as long as possible— certainly not before the peak of the rate of infections.
From a Twitter post. BREAKING: All football matches in England will be played behind closed doors under government plans to combat coronavirus that could be triggered as early as tomorrow. The current season will not be postponed but instead Premier league matches will be moved BCD.
Everton vs Liverpool could be affected as Government set to move coronavirus response to next stage https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...l-everton-premier-league-coronavirus-17908870
Arteta has it. I'm guessing a 2-3 week suspension of the season incoming - either tomorrow or this weekend.
