Schalke have been terrible. And Wagner is not looking like a good manager.

He's looking like the manger who couldn't keep Huddersfield up. A good number two rather than a head coach, maybe?

Is it bad I lost interest in the BL after the first weekend of empty stadiums, teams I don't care about and Bayern winning yet again?

Dortmund blowing it mid week sucked.

I don’t have a ton of interest now that the title is decided - but it’s still 1) live, 2) football, and 3) not that bad with the fake noise as 85% of the time you don’t see the stands anyway.

Yeah, as in Im the only one on this entire board who thinks Timo Werner at Liverpool is a thing that should not happen.

What are the odds on Bayern II winning it?
    I'll take those.

personally I've found the commentators are very poor and distracting. not in the sense of knowing the game or being idiots, but most of them sound like a couple of guys sitting on a couch somewhere watching a game they really don't give a crap about.

I've never paid the BL any attention before so I don't know if that's normal for German tv, or if it's the weird situation / lack of crowd noise / etc that's rubbing off on them. in any event I now record games and just zip ahead and just watch the goals.

Nobody cares, they cant get promoted. Considering one of their players (Cuissance) earns per year what other teams pay their entire teams it would be hardly surprising though.

Köln - Leipzig with 6 goals at 70 mins.

Funny, I was going to suggest that the mothership drop Coutinho down to them in order to win two titles!

There were some unsavoury scenes in Portugal yesterday with some Benfica fans, disappointed at the draw with minnows Tondela, stoned the team bus causing injuries to some players.

No you’re not the only one. I watched a couple games earlier in the season when his name started being bandied about. I don’t think he’s going to score as much in the EPL. Plus there was some really weird dynamics between him and the rest of the RB Leipzig offense. I got the distinct impression they didn’t like him much... but maybe that was just because he was making eyes at Liverpool at the time.

no that’s true - he was often openly petulant at his teammates if they didn’t pass or missed a shot etc.

Newcastle have reportedly held talks with Philippe Coutinho.

The former Liverpool star is set to leave Barcelona this summer but won't be signing for current loan club Bayern Munich.

Carlo Ancelotti is also a known admirer and is keen to bring Coutinho to Everton, while the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are weighing up a loan move too.

Going to be interesting to see how an oil rich club is going to manage to stay within ffp with the big hit covid 19 has had on actual real income. One thing is sure they won't be able to do as Chelsea, City and PSG and without breaking the rules

That's just click-bait. No way will Everton afford him with its wage bill as large as it currently is.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been suspended for one match by the Football Association over a post on social media about coronavirus. Alli, 24, put a video on Snapchat in February in which he joked about the outbreak and appeared to mock an Asian man.

The England international has also been fined £50,000 and ordered to under take an education course.

He will miss Spurs' match at home to Manchester United on 19 June.

The video posted by Alli showed him wearing a face mask in an airport lounge, before moving the camera to show a man of Asian appearance, and then zooming in on a bottle of antiseptic hand wash.

In his hearing, Alli said that he had "very quickly" realised the video may have the "potential to cause upset" and deleted it before catching his flight.

However, he said he had been "betrayed" by a friend who sold the video on his private account to the media. In a statement, Alli said: "In response to the FA decision, I would like to apologise again for any offence caused by my behaviour. It was an extremely poorly judged joke about a virus that has now affected us more than we could ever have imagined."
