Red Bull went to town on Mainz. 5-0 right now. A fair scoreline would have been 8-0 or 9-0. Werner has 3. He should have 5. And an assist that Poulsen missed as a sitter.
So... piped in crowd noise for the Koeln-Düsseldorf game today... quite a different mood, although it does just seem loud
It was actually good - I'm trying to do work while watching so when I'm not looking at the TV it's nice to hear the noise.
In 97, it was before the refurb, but I can't remember going in (it was a while ago ) That being said, a ground with a athletics track around it isn't the best for viewing or atmosphere. A purpose built stadium would be better, even though it makes the olympic stadium mostly redundant.
Back on. Brandt is off and Sancho is on. He's not the one I'd have taken off but I reckon the coach knows what he is doing.
He didn’t know what he was doing it turns out. Brandt and Delaney were the two best players in the first half and they were yanked off at halftime. I thought Dortmund got worse with every sub. Only Can made a decent impact. Title race over. Bayern look very strong at the moment. Putting Alaba at CB and Davies at LB has really transformed them. They could win the Champions League if it ever resumes.
Bayer Leverkusen look bereft of any ideas at all. So, have any home teams won any matches since the resumption?
What an absolute howler from the keeper-- on first viewing it looked as if he had actually chucked the back into the net-- to give Leipzig the lead This after centre-half Marcel Halstenberg had been sent off for the home team. Massimo Taibi and Dave Beasant anyone?
He should focus more on stopping his team from throwing away points from winning positions - 4 pts in the last 3 games - than what his hipster outfit will be.
