1-1 at the end of the first half. Saul Martinez scored for Honduras after Burdisso made a mistake in the Argentine defense. Diego Milito equalized off a cross from Luis Gonzalez.

2-1 Argentina after a Luis Gonzalez goal. Figueroa for Honduras was sent off after a hard foul.

3-1 now with Mariano Gonzalez scoring for the Argies.

Honduras has fallen apart ever since Figueroa got sent off.

Not many teams can walk over the 2nd team Argie side, and I definitely don't expect the U.S. to either.

this argie team is basically a sub 23 team (if you look at their ages)

if the u.s brings some of their world cup players they have a better team than argentina, and should beat them. It will be interesting to watch them against the u.s all mls team.

Three world cup players will be starters for the U.S.--Mastroeni, Mathis and Donovan.

The match between Argentina & Honduras is on Telemundo Channel 47 (NY) live at 1PM tomorrow (Sunday) if anyone is interested in seeing Argentina play prior to their match against the USA.

Argentina is playing Mexico during the week. Does anyone know if this can be seen anyplace here?

Go to soccertv.com. They have tons of info.

Netherlands-Argentina is on DirecTV on Feb. 12 at 2:30PM for $19.99.

    ALSO!!!
ESPN Deportes (their Spanish-language service, just like Fox Sports en Espanol) will be going 24/7 effective Sept. 7, 2003. According to the news release, it's currently available in 13-million U.S. households via analog or digital cable in selected areas.

    :)

Damn! I HATE DISH! They hardly ever have any good games on PPV. I wish I had Direct TV so I can watch Yugoslavia beat England. :)

You are correct. I was wrong.

TVGuide.com had the game listed as live, but it's obviously taking place at night. Soccertv.com doesn't even have the game listed. My apologies for any confusion.

Just to make this thread related to Metrostars, former Metro Saul (pronounced Sa-ool) Martinez is a starting forward for Honduras.
