Only player I can pinpoint is Urmeneta of Necaxa. He's already playing for the senior squad and has already scored a goal in La Clausura. I hear a lot of raving reviews about this kid, iirc he's 17 yrs of age.

DT Padilla going to the US in search of young Honduran talent. Najar's brothers will surely be in the Youth Honduran teams I assume, if this DC United kid, Austin Salmeron is going to be on the Youth team since they all play together in DC United's reserve teams.

U-20 news, El Salvador couldn't get their U-20 ready in time, which means Honduras will only play a series of friendlies with Los Chapines:

 

Looks like a new Honduran U-20 trialist from the US has showed up. His name is Erick Bryan Haylock Ruiz, and he's a goalkeeper for the West Ham Academy in the U.S.. He's the second American-Honduran to try-out for a U-20 spot. The first was New York RedBull Academy's midfielder, Roger Cabrera Girón, who didn't make the team due to the fact that they already have his spot well covered with deep talent.:

They have a lot of work to do.. I also question his player selection. Tejada for Olimpia, Jeffrey Flores for Real Espana, Mishek Avila y Barrios for Motagua are all eligible to play for the U-20 team and have already found minutes within the senior squad of their respective clubs.

 

Honduras U-17 National Team get ready to participate in a tournament in Costa Rica:

 

U-17 Honduran side record their first win in the Copa Saprissa after beating Panamanian club, Chorrillo F.C., after losing their first game to hosts Costa Rica U-17 and then drawing with the US U-17 side:

 

Honduran U-17 team fall to the Mexican U-17 side by a scoreline of 2-0:

 

Honduran U-20 team beat the Guatemalan U-20 team twice in one week by the scoreline of 1-0:

 

Honduran U-20 drew with C.D. Marathon 4-4 in their build-up to U-20 WCQ later this month:

 

This current batch of U-20 Hondurans are the worst batch of U-20 players I have ever seen as a Honduran ever!!!!

Honduras are not only eliminated from U-20 WCQ, but eliminated as HOSTS to NICARAGUA!!!.. Ni pueden ganar ah Los Pinoleros!! K VERGUENZA!!!!

I fear for our generation after our current U-23 team.. Its not looking too bright if we can't even beat our baseballing neighbor Nicaragua.

Padilla.. smh, I hope he never coaches a youth team again.

 

So our U-17 are travelling to Ecuador to conduct un gira prior to their U-17 WCQ in December:

 

They didn't deserve to make it if they couldn't beat Nicaragua. Terrible defending. Players were running on the field like headless chickens, no idea, nothing. Individually they're really good, Jonathan Tejada, Marvin "Ricky" Barrios, Espinal, Castellanos, Nieto, Cristofer Urmunenta, Nissi Sauceda, Walter Martinez.. they're all cold, but as a collective unit they were done.

Honduras travelled to Guatemala to participate in UNCAF U-17 WCQ. First game is this Friday against neighbors El Salvador.

I fully expect our ticket to the next round unlike our U-20 counter-parts
