Sooo we played two more friendlies in CR. Lost the second game to Los Ticos 5-3, after going up 3-1 at halftime. Tied Alajuelense sub-21 2-2 to end our tour of CR.

Carlos Pavon named asst. coach of the Sub-20s.

  3. This Is Really Our Future, Hopefully They Have El Hambre Del Triunfo Q La Seleccion No Tenia.

Callejas admitted to calling up Jonathan Rubio, but he decided not to come due to his academy commitment in Spain.

As far as Montero, the rumor is he wasn't called up due to inner politic conflicts in the federation. Seems like they didn't want to call him because he plays for Vida.

This is why we can't have nice things. It's always politics with these corrupt phucks. Sad its reached the U-20 level, the best supplier of talent in Honduras not allowed to have their kid who is the best and most talented pure playmaker in the league and in his age pool all cuz there's not enough Olimpia or Motagua players to where around... Man Smh

Honduras dominating the first half. Hit the post once with Rembrandt after our second gol, and almost cashed in a freekick.

Bryan Velasquez issued his redcard before half, for at most a yellowcard offense. Hopefully the boys can hold the lead.

You guys have a real ability to score goals whenever you want. That's what worries me when we play each other.

We were down a man and this goalie was clueless, put in our u17 goalie, and stay with 11 men and we should win. Our attack is probably the best in the tourney.

Game ends in a 1-1 draw. Honduras dominated the game the whole way through. Terrible refereeing.

  17. Terrible refereeing for both games. If that Pk would have gone in, we would have been in deep S...

Word. And you immediately see the gape in class between keepers, López and Christian.

You think Lopez (not Buba, but the current U20 callup) is better than Christian?

Vice versa. But López has made some impressive stops these past two games.

OK, here's the challenge: I want to build a list of all players that will be between say, 21, and 23 by June-July of 2016. Many of these are on this current U20 team, however, not all. And there may be others that we may want to consider.

Include each player's name, birth date with year, and where they play.

Ex: Andy Najar, March 16, 1993, Anderlecht

*Note: you'll notice that Andy does NOT qualify as and U23 for the Olympics because he will turn 23 in March of that Rio 2016 year. He could go as one of the three over 23 player of course.

So in other news our U-17s are in Mexico playing El Copa de Naciones. They're in a group with Mexico, Ecuador, y Scotland. Honduras managed to beat Scotland in their first game 2-0. Direct FK gol de Jorge Alvarez and a long distance blast from star, Darixon Vuelto.

    1. Is this on TV at all?
    2. I've heard Vuelto's name quite a bit.

I think it's only on Mexican tv. I got this report from our press, speaking of which, Honduras fell yesterday to hosts, Mexico, by the minimum 1-0.

Darixon plays for Victoria, debuted last Clausura against Olimpia at the age of 15. He had a really solid outing that night. He first jumped on to the scene during last year's inaugural CONCACAF U-15 tourney in Cayman Islands. Honduras finished as Champions, with Darixon Vuelto winning the Golden Ball in the progress, as well as our keeper winning the Golden Glove. He returned and then the talks of another Lacayo, was born.
