Sorry if this is a blatant advertisement, but we are not making any money off this, and I am sure many fans might appretiate it -- MetroFanatic.com is making Amado Guevara "Che" t-shirts:

You can order them at with paypal at http://www.metrofanatic.com/mf/other/shirt.jsp or if you can't use paypal, email me at info@metrofanatic.com and we can figure something out.

    Honduran tercera división

OK, this is really out on a limb, but:

My company does a lot of work with a charity that helps out along the islands off of Honduras, specifically Roatan. Apparently, the football team that started out as part of this charity work has worked their way into the third division, and may be up for promotion again soon. I'd love to be able to follow the team online, if at all possible. Anyone know how to find information on third division scores, etc.? Any help is appreciated.

The name of the team is Homeboyz. Primarily made up from the English (pirate) -speaking residents of the island. I'll take a look at those links. Thanks!

No, they're amateurs. The team is sponsored by a charity group my company works with. No luck even on the Spanish sites finding a tercera división table. Thanks, though :)

Just in case, I did find that I had misspelled the team's name. HomeBoyies is the actual spelling. They've played a team named Utigalpa. Don't know if that's a mainland team or not.

the rumor had him next to amado guevara: METROS?

Soccer a matter of life, death for two Honduran players

    Six men. Then nothing.

Those were the last things Honduran soccer player Henry Suazo saw before the blindfold went over his eyes and the ropes bound his arms and legs. For 11 days he remained that way -- a kidnapping victim -- until the ordeal ended just as quickly as it began.

thay is why President Maduro wants the largest sentence to kidnappers in Honduran law.

His own son was killed few years back by kidnappers in the san pedro sula....

the whole country cries for more protection from that crime, Maduro is facing a difficult term!

Y pensar que maduro es de Origen panameno!

from a futbol player to a Killer: PLATENSE

A SMALL discussion between 2 players from Club platense, after signing a contract for the current season, generated a box fight, that ended with one punch to the parietal area, killing his fellow mate, QPD....

Pictures with the Honduran National Soccer Team

These are some pictures taken at Hotel Hilton in Fort Lauderdale. I am wearing the AC MILAN Jersey and the other guy is my best friend Sergio.

I spoke with everyone except "Tyson" Nuñez, Victor Coello, Hector Medina, David Suazo, Amado Guevara, "Rambo" de Leon, Edgard Alvarez, and Maynor Suazo. All of them were cool, mainly Carlos Pavon, Ivan Guerrero, Walter Lopez, and Jerry Palacios. Even Sambula and Arzu were cool. The only one that was sort of stuck up was Juan Carlos Espinoza, but what can you expect from someone coming from Olimpia.

    I say Honduras 2 - 1 Costa Rica.

The last picture was taken at the Miami Airport with a midfielder and forward of the San Vicente National Soccer Team. I don't know their names yet. They were coming from playing a friendly with Nicaragua.
