I am still pissed, but just about over it, but we play in a high school stadium, but it will be fall, and Chicago will visit, and it will be Friday Night Lights except it will be Saturday. Does everyone in the US do mums on Homecoming, or is that a particularly tacky, Texas/Southern thing. In any case, I again suggest that we deem that game Homecoming, and that we see if someone takes orders for Mums with little soccer balls hanging off of them or whatever. I am more than 15 years removed from my own Texas High School Homecoming, so maybe they don't do these things anymore. Or do they? Yeah Baby!! (Also can be thrown at Chicago Bulgarians without threat of injury.) I also think the Carroll Dragon percussion section should be invited, gratis, to sit with the supporters sections during this fine homecoming game. Are you with me!
And I think Mike Jeffries would look dashing in a rented tux and (bootineer) (sp???) on the sidelines. Get w'it, dog.
