It'll be interested to see how much MLS Cup carryover we get from last season.

Anyone have any idea how ticket sales have been going?

Well, with iffy weather and it being Easter weekend, I'd say the odds aren't that great for a bigger turnout. I'll say something in the neighborhood of 16,000.

    I wanna party like it's 1996

Glad we have such a thick-and-thin fanbase. Maybe if you are extra nice to Sweet Lou, he'll let you get a full refund on your entire season ticket. Francis don't play here no more, and neither does Beto.

You might have heard of this Twellman kid. He's got the chance to be twice the player JMM ever was. Might as well enjoy him when he's here.

    Cheers,

That's a little harsh. I can't make every game so I decided that I'd miss this week. If I'm going to miss a few games, it might as well be ones with JMM out of the lineup.

Gee "Red"...u ain't been keeping up. This is the second season that I haven't bought season tickets. How you like that for a "thin" fanbase???? Talk to me when u decide to post under a "real" name.

Craig Tornberg said they're looking at 20,000 or so.

If KC can get 23k for their home opener, heaven help us if we can't get 25k.

    Oops...

Great day today (Tuesday), but Saturday is currently forecast with a high temperature of 48 degrees and 30% chance of rain. Add this to Easter weekend, and you might have a problem.

I'll be there, but there might be lots of Category I seats empty, and the walk up crowd might suffer.

Kansas City also had sunny skies, 80 degrees if I recall, and a high-powered off-season marketing effort to help grow their season ticket base.

By comparison we're likely to have much worse weather and on the day before Easter.

I hope we get 20,000, but actually in the stadium I'll still say 16,000 wouldn't be bad.
