Does anyone know if KC is getting a new home kit like the rest of the league this year? If so what do they look like, and if not...WHY?
yep, the new ones have the same color blue as before, dame 3 stripes down the arms, the only realy difference would be the cut of it, and hte white underarms. The adidas catologue did nt show Kansas City written across it, but that doesnt mean it wont happen.
you can get them from adidas now, but only on order. I dont think stores will actualyl have them in stock for at least a month, possibly not even unti lthe MLS season starts.
Hala- Thanks for posting that picture. Where did you get that though? That's the first picture I've seen of the actual jersey (not just the design artwork), and while I'm happy it doesn't say Kansas City on the front, I'm upset about the lack of a championship star. So I'm just hoping that isn't a finished product.
I liked it when it said Kansas City...the actual jersey looks really next but I'd like to see the Kansas City on it again so its not as...blank.

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw it...a warm up. A little more around the collar than what a regular warm up would have, but either way a warm up. Im not one to complain though- just glad we have a team to put the uniforms on.
I would not be suprised to see Kansas City on the players jerseys, but not on others. The current away jersey doesnt say kansas City on the consumer version, but all the playeer have it on theirs. As for the star..those are not managed my adidas. Someone within the team takes care of that. Im sure the star will still be there.
I believe the one in the picture is from the adidas booth at the NSCAA convention. There was one on the "wall" of the MLS booth, too. I can't recall if "KANSAS CITY" was on it or not. The yellow stars are put on by the team equipment manager. If you look through Wade's pictures, you'll find some games where they weren't there.
