Finally, a meaningful USNT game at the Home Depot Center. Awesome. I can't wait...

USSF should share the wealth. We can't really play winter qualifiers in Chicago, so this would have been a really good one to put there. As a Midwest-based fan, this is really really irritating.

The west coast hasn't had a qualifier in ages.

As long as every region gets its share I dont really care what the order is. I mean I'd like the Mexico game to be played in a place where it isnt filled with Mexican fans, but other than that it's all good.

Jw, if we would lose that match to Barbados or what ever, do we not even have a chance to qualify?

Come on Blackjack....give some love to SoCal. 1st qualifier in SoCal since '89. You've got Columbus in your backyard. What is there to be irritated about? I'm sure T***** (wife works for Honda) Park will have its share of qualifiers in the future ('09 maybe?).

Well we have to go to there backyard and play their in front of their home fans there.

The idea here, is not to lose here because if we do that here we shouldn't make the the cup there.

    Gold Cup games aren't "meaningful"?

I don't begrudge LA (and the west coast in general) hosting a qualifier, but let's cut the hyperbole.

I just hope this is a sign Phoenix will get some love for a qualifier after the sellout for the US/Mexico game last year.

I would love to play like a T&T or other Caribbean team here (I can understand not getting a Central American team).

this norcal fan will probably make the trek down again, barring family obligations that weekend. my long overdue first visit was a couple of weeks ago for the Sweden game.

Actually its Bajan's as Soca's are from T&T.

Can someone give me the overview of Carson, I'm going to try and go to the game so knowing where I can and cannot go is always a pleasure especially if I'm going to use public transport?

Don't venture too far east and you should be alright. Stay the hell out of Compton.
