0-2 loss in LA and a 2-1 victory in SJ for our boys.

    Win away. Win home.

Not that I believe that, but one of my teams WILL take a win from the Rose Bowl. So I guess it's got to be the Quakes on Saturday.

And it's about dang time they got a road win!!

I vote for other: both games are canceled (just like last year's season-ending home-and-away)

I felt better about our chances last year going into the home and away series even being 2pts down. :(

I feel the same. I'm nto sure why, but I have bad feeling about these last two games. If we can shut Ruiz down then we are going to be just fine, if not, I hate to say it, but Ithink LA will have a great chance at winning the cup this season....finally.

Just fyi: I don't try to be so negative, I just dont want to get my hopes up. Also, every game I have been negative about this season, we pull off a fantastic win.

My way of preventing disappointment: Convince yourself that there'e no way it'll end the way you want it to, but cheer anyway.

It doesn't work very well though.

Not surprising. Then--everyone fit, healthy, no injuries--a team that operated like a well-oiled machine. The same starters.
But optimistically, I don't see LA as anything but ---- without Ruiz. It can be done.

Tie on the road and win at home. My heart says win-win but my brain says the Quakes have sucked on the road this year, but with a couple of key galaxitives out a tie is possible.

Yup.....I am really glad Ezra is out.....he is always a thorn in the Quakes side. Barrett seems to be the only one that can consistently handle him although Manny tracked back alot to deal with him in the USOC and did a good job.....on defense anyway.

Without Lalas trying to pull his clothes off, Landon will do the freak and score a hat trick. LA falls apart and lets in two more goals. Ruiz does a suicide attack (ala Martinez) on Cannon and gets tossed from the game. Score 5-1...

    Aftermath:

Sigi falls on a corner flag after the game and ends up in the hospital. In the hospital, he keeps mubbling, "Lalas can play. Lalas can play...", over and over. Doctors are concerned because Lalas can't play soccer or music...

The Quakes go on to tie at home 1-1 on two own goals. One by Jeff Agoos who does a bicycle kick into his own goal and the other by Hartman who punches the ball into his own net.

In a state of shock, IBleadTeal expresses his love for Landon and starts to post rational comments on the players and results of the game.

I hope when he falls on the flag, he doesn't puncture and explode all over the place.

All the rest of what you say, QuakeAttack, I can buy, but this has to be on the highest level of improbability. ;)
