From BBC: Bolton are hoping midfielder Stuart Holden will be fit after missing the last two matches with a thigh injury. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/9268433.stm Game kicks off at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Muamba was dropped. Mark Davies will basically be an AM, so Holden will have a lot of defensive responsibility.(not that he didn't before, but even more so now)
Holden's had about 10 great tackles so far this half, and just got his first foul. So fresh and so clean!
No, not at all. You just inaccurately described what has been happening. At most he'd had 4 or 5 tackles and that was his second foul.
Pretty unentertaining half of soccer, which is not terribly surprising for a match featuring Blackburn. Stuart was ok. A few solid tackles. At the end of the half he was beaten pretty badly on the endline and in the process of trying to recover was involved in something of a penalty shout (although to be fair the Rovers player appeared to be looking for the call).
Not the best game for Bolton or Stu so far. Blackburn dominated possession for the last 15-20 minutes of that half, which isn't something they are known for. Blackburn is doing a good job pressuring the ball and forcing errors as well.
Davies first yellow was his 5th, so he was suspended either way. Not sure how it works now that it's a red. That's a lot of yellows for someone who hasn't been a regular.
Holden was called for a dangerous play on the ball that went back to Petrov. It appeared that he pulled out of it though. Holden skies a half volley after some nice build up play. Bolton looking pretty good with 10 men.
Muamba looked like a high quality striker on that cutback and finish. There were three Blackburn defenders on the line defending that. How many players does Blackburn have? Bolton with ten have the upper hand and Holden really getting into this game.
