Hiya my local club Aarhus GF (AGF) has signed one of your players this winter, his name is Wade Barrett. All I know about him is that he plays left back, so I would be happy if any of you could tell me anything about him? Cheers
And here's a recent thread from this forum about Wade going to Aarhus: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29941 This also gets discussed periodically in the Yanks Abroad forum here on BigSoccer.
And here's his BIO from the US National Team supporters' site: http://www.sams-army.com/index.php?Mlist=player&Pid=325
I hear the Danish season is starting up again this weekend? Let us know how Barrett does in his first game!
Cheers guys, must say he sounds very promising. I have only seen him in an indoor five a side game, where he did really well, scored a real stunner with a long shot. He will probably get his debut this Sunday away against Farum BK a game we have a good chance of winning. If you wish I would be very happy to let you know how he is doing in DK. One more question do he have any songs/chants linked to him, could be nice to welcome him with a chant he would already know when he plays his first home match against FC Copenhagen.
Actually, if you could drop by the Yanks Abroad forum Im sure that many people would greatly appreciate any Wade updates that came up, since unfortunately the number of Danish speakers on these boards isnt real high.
The quick and basic: "Wade Barrett - (clap clap, clap clap clap)" Or the one that depends on whether he's sporting his trademark sideburns or not. You could call him by his favorite nickname "Teenwolf", or you could have an entire fan section grow their sideburns hideously long. He will definitely appreciate that. This is Wade's great uncle in the hideous Clash kit of 1847. (I'm sure someone else has photos of the teenwolf-Eddie Munster era to share...) And thanks for the updates!
"Teenwolf" Ace I'll remeber that. If anyone is interested there are some pictures of wade in the GF shirt on this site ( Scroll down to the middle of the page)
Re: Re: Hiya you Quakes       I remember when those first came out - and as with the 1996 Clash jersey, I refused to buy it then as well.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
That indoor type facility, it looks cold in there....long sleeves and field gloves. Is it open on top? In some pics it appears to have frost on the surface. Please fill us in.
The pictures are from the winter training, you have to do some of the training inside, when the earth outside is frozen. The building is completly closed, but i dont think there is any heat on.
