Hey Reds - question for all of you that I'm hoping that you can assist me with.

I am in desperate need of finding out the History of Old Trafford - from the first construction of our beloved ground all the way to today - including refurbishments and the costs for them? I really need some in depth info on it although unfortunately cannot seem to find it anywhere - can anyone direct me to a webpage that may be dedicated exclusively to our beloved ground? Thanks!

The museum on the grounds of Old Trafford is a great place to find such info. Very detailed. If you can't make it to Old Trafford, call their front office and I am sure someone can give you the information you desire.

At least our scum have won something at some point in history (in fact, at many points).

    Seriously, get a life.

Sorry...Cant point you to website with all the answers. But have you tried a United fan site like redissue (redissue.co.uk). Someone may be able to give you the info you want. There are lots of books with details.

You may already know that...The Germans bombed OT in WW2. United played at Maine Road for a few years after. The last redevelopment of the ground was in the mid 1990's. The capacity was around the 45,000 mark and the redevelopment brought the capacity to around 67,000. The player’s entrance onto the pitch was moved during the redevelopment.

    Elland Road First Division Ground..shock!

If you have ever been to Elland Road you will know what I mean. Who knows they may be in Div 1 next season, after El Tel has finished with them.
