I post some old Charleston Battery (Highlights) games on my Rumble Channel. Charleston Battery vs. Dallas Burn | March 30, 2002 https://rumble.com/v13mw5e-charleston-battery-vs.-dallas-burn-march-30-2002.html
What an incredible job Ben Pirmann has done with this year's team. Two incredible wins over Hartford Athletic right at the death, 3-2 at Patriots Point in April and 4-3 a few nights ago at Dillon Stadium. Best rivalry in USL hands down. Sure, there have been a few bad results like losing 7-0 at home to San Antonio and the 4-0 loss to Indy where Archer got sent off in the first minute. But overall this has been quite a special season so far.
Most USL_HQ teams are built around journeymen at the end of their careers, but the Charleston Battery is relatively young, including 17-year-old winger Fidel Barajas. They host Phoenix Rising on Sunday for the USL Championship title game at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
