That first goal was such a Chicharito finish. Chucky back to his natural position and his adaptation to the league is starting to flourish.
We can't call Gattuso an idiot, he's the change that made this team what it is now. Ancelotti is a great coach, no doubt, but after everything that happened the players lost trust in him. Gattuso came in and organized the team, sat Chucky because Mertens and Insigne are the stars of the team. Chucky worked his ass off to earn playing time, produced and Gattuso found a formation to fit in Chucky with the stars of the team along with the new signing, Osimeh. Now this Napoli team looks dangerous, they have a good starting 11 and a good bench, they should challenge for the Scudetto and the Europa League.
Something we shouldn't forget to mention, Chucky scored two goals playing on the right side in Napoli's last game. Against Atalanta he scores two playing on the left. Amazing! This flexibility makes him even more valuable. I'm sure at times he will also play behind the striker in Napoli's formation as well, if he can play well there too it will give Tata Martino more options.
Lozano in from the start. Napoli down 1-0 vs. AZ Alkmaar in the 60th minute (Europa League Group F action).

Yeah, he did ok, but Benevento was parking the bus. Napoli had to rely on crosses so they took him and Mertens out for Politano and Petagna. Petagna who is the backup 9 ended up scoring the game winning goal.
They had chucky well covered today, 2 or 3 defenders on him at a time. He should continue to practice those scenarios to improve.
Benevento was a well organized team today, they overloaded the middle and the ball side, mostly Napoli's left side. Lozano had a few half chances, but in the air, he need to work on his heading a bit. Napoli should get used to this, teams are going to park the bus against them. Napoli needs to start incorporating the fullbacks more into the attack as well as having Osimeh making some runs toward the wing to open the center of the field for Mertens, Insigne and Chucky. Napoli made this a professional win, getting three points against a team that parked the bus. These types of games make and break teams chances at the top four and at the title.

Terrible game by Napoli, Sassuolo was better in every phase of the game. Chucky had one clear shot on goal which he shot weakly to the GK.
