Very generous review from MdP. Once he got moved to the wing, his teammates preferred to pass it back rather than pass it to him when he was wide open. They would even attempt the Rafa-esque diagonal pass to the opposite wing instead of a wide open Chucky. Honestly, Lozano didn't do himself any favors as he looked completely disinterested. Sounds premature to say this only one season in but he needs to go somewhere else next season.
Saw the exact same thing. He was making runs behind and no pass, after that he stopped trying, unless the ball was near him.

With Oshimen on the team, Chucky can now either play as a second striker or on wing. This now helps the team overall since now there’s a true 9 to score rather than having small wing players in Insigne, Mertens or Chucky who also played as a 9 before.
Yes, but I don’t think he really fit their system. Oshimen has the speed and ball control that Napoli Likes in their forwards, plus the size/height a 9 should have. Not the small types like Mertens and Insigne who are like 5’7” and 5’5”.
Yeah I always find it disturbing when they insist on playing poor Chucky as 9. Hopefully you’re right and he gets more time in the wings... or even better he gets out of there
