Van Nistelrooy (Genbosch) - 12 goals in 31 games
Makaay (Vitesse) - 11 goals in 31 games
    Kluivert (Ajax) - 6goals in 17 games
Ibrahimovic (Ajax) - 6 goals in 24 games
Van Hooydonk (RBC) - 6 goals in 32 gamas
    Hasselbaink (AZ) - 1goal in 9games
    ----------------------------------------------------------

Hirayama (Heracles) - 5 goals in 12 games

There is no question he should be in the NT for the world cup. But it's only up to 1 man :( . A man who has made many questionable decisions

Honestly Hirayama hasnt impressed me during big games, but yes he is a good player and definitely makes problems for other teams, his size is also a big factor also.

but he should be given a chance, at least as a sub

True. Since Kubo is a big question mark, why not give Hirayama a chance? The friendly against the USA would be a good place for him to cut his teeth. If he can hack it against the US, he should be able to against Croatia and Australia.

    I can't agree more.

his team hercules are very weak.
hercules are always dominated by their opponents in ball possession,
so hirayama must always get few scoring chances.
if he played for big 4(psv, az, ajax, Feyenoord), he would score more goals.

so far he has played 483 minutes and scored 5 goals.
his goals per 1 game (90 minutes) are 0.93168.... goals.

the data means that he is brilliant

I don't see how he can not be given a callup if he continues to play regularly. I mean Suzuki gets called up...

I'm one of those that like Suzuki, at least i dont hate him like rest of the world. The biggest problem with the japanese strikers is that they cant score, Oguro can but he doesn't start the games, not yet. Yanagisawa and Tamada runs perfectly and creates chances but they dont score. So to try Hirayama would not be a bad idea.
I dont know if Japan will try any other striker that has been playing good in J-League in the past months, please tell me if there is ?

Hisato Sato is selected this time. He scored 18 goals in J-League. He is samll but quick, and at least could score in J-League. But honestly I don't know well about him.

Okey , many of Japans forwards are small. Oguro, Tamada, Yanagisawa and Sato as you mentioned. But then if you select Hirayama you have a big one to :D

We do't ahve a true physicall pressence in the Japan team. Hirayama can kill australia, he would knock other team silly, and he has nice control on the ball, a bit like Peter Crouch. Suzuki and Yanagisawa are all great headers of the ball and aggresive players but Hirayama is so god damn big :D

Agreed, wouldnt it be good with one small and one big ? Like Hirayama and Oguro. But i still hope Kubo will regain his topform.
