Keep forgetting this...anyone else agrees that Hofmann was wearing a new hair cut against 05??? I think its obvious but needed to check with ya guys as well?? If so maybe he should keep that style till we get into europe...or perhaps we can even win the title ..after all the Puma factor and its omen has been well received so far!!! :devilish::devilish::alien::ninja::alien::devilish::devilish:

Plea storms towards the Bundesliga record
    :sneaky::ninja:;):D:thumbsup::alien::devilish:

In Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach has not had much to offer for a long time. In the last eight away games jumped only a single point. The last victory is almost an eternity back - it was on the 28th round of the season 2001/02!

On course: Borussia Mönchengladbach's Alassane Plea.

When the Borussia returned from Breisgau over three years ago with three points in their luggage, they celebrated their success at the Bökelberg. The Borussia Park opened in 2004, and in the starting eleven then stood three professionals who lead the fortunes of the foals today. Sporting director Max Eberl defended right in the back four, Steffen Korell, director of licensed football, next in the center and attacking attacked today's U23 coach Arie van Lent, who may complain for himself, with his 1: 0 just that last away win. Long, long ago. But the hope is great these days that the black series on Friday evening rips. In even better shape than current, the Fohlenelf can hardly present: If not now, then when?

    upload_2018-10-25_17-31-18.gif
Hecking: "Good passing game, good positional game, purposeful"
Series, whether positive or negative, coach Dieter Hecking interested little. For him it is crucial that the team implements the specifications. For Friday, the route is: bring your own game as in the home game against Mainz (4: 0). "Good passing game, good positional play, to be single-minded and to show consistency in our actions - that's what counts," said Hecking at the press conference on Thursday.

Personnel except for young forward Julio Villalba (severe shoulder bruise) all men on board. Theoretically, the coach could even fall back on the recovered after a protracted calf injury Raffael. Hecking leaves him for Freiburg after the several-week forced break but still outside. "No," was Hecking's clear answer as to whether Raphael could appear in the squad.

Hecking praises Plea: "The overall package is very good at the moment"
In the end, there is no need for offense. What is connected to a not insignificant part of Alassane Plea, which is in excellent shape. In all four away matches met the Frenchman, who thus sets course for a Bundesliga record: only Steffen Baumgart (1995/96 for Rostock) and Serge Gnabry (2016/17 for Bremen) managed to meet in their first five Bundesliga away games. "Alassane is a player who explodes around the penalty area and does not need a lot of space to be dangerous, but for me it's just as important as he sees and sets his teammates in. The overall package is very good at the moment," he praised Hecking Borussia's new Goalgetter.

Black forest here we come....no other time better than the current one to break the loosIng streak we have experienced on the road out there...lets see what these boys are made of,tonight will be a determinant element for the rest of the season...a win here tonight will catapult us mentally and give us the confidence we need to believe in ourselves and what this club is about!

Whats worse is that we couldnt eve get a draw under our current circumstances & considering are so called "'Top-Form" if this team coming off 2 huge wins and so much depth in all positions cant mentally force its way past such teams one that also has had such a record against us for so many years ...creating even more reason to give it our 110...yea better stop here!

They where not struggling against us one bit, happy to have won but we did it b/c of individual talent...as a team in 2nd place of the buliplaying at home against relegation candidates id say we failed...no??? Before the 1-0 and 2-0 they could have even scored and kept us chasing or easily equalized. This team seems shaky after even such a good start in many years...we even had both Plea and Raffa on the green turf but still...our midfield lacks the kinda of quality to go to distance imo...unless lady luck helps us and thats a whole different topic to discuss!
Cant be fooled by the Buli table either..its only a one D projection:speechless:

I should learn to think like that more often..but hey u know me..i have a tendency for self criticism....but in all honesty Fortuna was no walk in the park for a supposedly in-form Gladbach team sitting at 2nd place right now...id think more like you ( during this season) once we seperate by the teams that are immediately below us and in our pursuit by 5 points ( min)..am i being too greedy???:whistling::eek::rolleyes:o_O:x3: I did really like the 3rd goal by Thor, first goal by JH was pretty tight as well...worried about Plea not scoring but he sure brings much more to the table than just scoring, love his attitude and physical swager too he is deffo a keeper...couldnt see the first half last nite..was Raffa in his typical cool even keel cat-like "not-give-a-damn" body language with the facial expression that follows it???
Am just really worried about our midfield chain...just too much up's and down's specially when u have raffa and plea and thor in the game...u expect an all round Blitzkrieg on the opposing goal:sick::ninja::ninja::sick:

Raffael's reintroduction to the squad no doubt ruffled the feathers of continuity, but bear in mind they were likely still in their own heads over the Pokal days earlier.

Plea is hurt, but came back for the game and got through it OK. Gladbach play the kind of attacking ball where many are expected to both facilitate as well as finish. He did well with Part A I thought.

Another shutout on a day it looked like they weren't really into it is more than acceptable when I consider the outcomes a year ago under similar circumstances.

    Now; about that Elvedi injury...........................

Speaking of Elvedi eh?? I was thinking ..its been a few weeks actually that couple of years ago...he was kiddamaking progress and seemed like he is going places...this season and partially last season imo he seems like reached his limit and even at times..seems he has lost his quality and lacks the needed speed creativity and field positioning ...kind of class basically to be counted on for a buli team that is aiming for europe...am being way off here? Anybody else agrees with me??? Or something along those lines??

Very. Thought the officials were unduly harsh on Gladbach at times, Werder were getting away with a lot of stuff physically early on, while they seemed to look the other way, and raise flags moments after allowing play to continue in attack.

btw: Do I need a hearing aid-or did it seem like official's whistles were blowing throughout the game from the stands? Thought that kind of interference wasn't permitted...............

Plea seems to have recovered his scoring form in any event. :coffee:

Finally a game that i can call "complete" thru and thru... from a tactical point of view the team spirit and very hard fought.I hope we can hold on to our new martin-plea Dahlin as long as possible...i bet many would like to right him a very phat salary and only in Germany but all around the rich phat euro leagues.

Not that long ago, giving up a goal 22 seconds in would've ruined the afternoon. This year, it just pissed them off. Enjoyed Thor's assist as much as anything else he did, I still think he goes hero far too much. A lot of selfishness today, disappointing, Might have scored double if they were a bit more willing to look up and move/share the ball.

Hope Ginter's broken face heals quick. Not excited for our prospects going forward with the leftovers at CB.

Raffael’s selfishness at the 90th minute was also disgraceful as Hoffman was in 100% scoring position...anyway Gladbach is a joy to watch this season...the introduction of Neuhaus and Plea and Hoffman, Hazard elevating their game has made a huge difference...I would prefer Gladbach winning the title rather than Dortmund

Watched it today...they almost looked identical to the Bokelberg fohlenelf of the 70 to early 80's.Would be interesting to see how long they can keep this heavy load on their shoulders...their bodylanguage was all you needed to see to understand their mental attitude!
Love the boys to BOSS favre and Co on their own home turf...that would be something for the ages to remember!

Orthopaedic wise...the jaw is more of a pain in the aRss and takes longer to fix than the orbital bone...all moving/floating bones attached to mobile joint ( like the jaw or ribs) will take forever to recover....unless he wears a helmet like robo cop....slightest pressure and hit to the cervical spine / head trunk can send his jaw back into space...depends how bad these areas are injured as well??? News like medical reports are never precise due to the fact its written for your average person...so lets hope they are not full blown fractures/dislocations!
