High Point beat UNCG in the last seconds of the first overtime with a great free kick. The finish was exceptional, especially considering the game situation. The placement was solid. The UNCG keeper was on the correct side to make the save but didn't jump high enough or miss-judged it in the air. Can't say for certain. Either way it was a great goal. I thought High Point possessed the ball better but I felt that UNCG had more shots but with only a few on goal. I haven't looked at the stats so I could be way wrong. Not a big fan of High Point's turf. Fun game to watch at the end with seconds waning and a goal to earn the victory.
