Guitierez, that is. Seems KC might let the man go. Could DC pick him up? Article says he has been in contact with an Eastern conference rival. Found this on the KC board. http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/sports/13409888.htm
He's expensive; there's no doubt about it. However, I like him for the same reason I like Mark Chung. They both have skill, workrate, can shoot the ball, and they never take a day off and mail in a performance. Good, solid professionals. Edit: Substitute him for Kovalenko, and you have an immediate upgrade.
And less expensive by about 45 G's. And even though he had a red card suspension this year I would not feel nervous every time he took a step out on the field. With Dema, I am nervous.
And with his current contract cheaper. And now that he's been waived, he could sign for less money, not a lot, but every little bit helps. Actually, I think putting him on the field would fill the veteran void left by Stewart.
Nowak should bring in on board for the lone reason that Deigo scored off a Nowak shot to win their first title in Chi-town. jk Seems like a decent player, solid vet and an upgrade over Dema
