hey people. um lets see where do i start? ok...im lucci gonzalez's brother, kristian, and i just wanted you to know that we (lucci and my whole family) are super excited about him moving to columbus. He really loved san jose and everthing but his career comes first...and...well he's psyked!!! Well just thought id introduce myself and for those who dont believe me...ask any quakeposter. If anyone has anything to tell me like what in fun in columbus or what you feel about him coming...just post here...id greatly appreciate anything anyone has to say! peece! kristian gonzalez (16 yrs old...but often mistaken for lucci's OLDER brother haha)
I know just who to ask LOL! Welcome, golieboy01, and welcome to your brother too. He sounds like a VERY talented player! Hermann Trophy, MAC and all. I like hearing that he plays with speed & precision. That should fit in well here. I'm surprised that The Quakes couldn't find a spot for him. Their loss, our gain. What's fun in Columbus? CREW GAMES!
Unless there are roster changes afoot that we're not aware of, your brother will have high competition to gain a spot. I'd lobby for the soul brothers line of Buddle and Cunny, but who am I? Either way, with those two up front, maybe your brother could play right winger. Either way I'm excited that a player with talent is coming to our club, one thing is for certain, he'll be given a fair trial. As far as fun goes, there's only one official local, Rose and Thistle pub. A footballer's paradise it is.
right wing..that's exactly what i was thinking when i heard the news yesterday...we'll see. one more thing: i miss the thistle.
Right wing is what I thought too. The Dispatch article confimed this as well, reading that Luchi could play several positions up front and out wide for the Crew and be a big help when our Nats and Olympic players are off. Let Luchi know he's welcome here in Columbus and we're looking for good things from him. Hopefully, Luchi can develop into another Nat for our team. Oh, now that your brother is Crew you might want to change your favorite team to Columbus. Just a thought.
i know it's really really late, or really really early, but im still confused by this. since i cant sleep, ill try to figure it out though. hi eggy!
Consider me the Welcome Wagon Lady or Crew-mother or something... BTW- we haven't forgotten to phone you, we just have been caught-up in a big event---ah, too much to tell here. Check your PM's.
Well, Kristian, spill the beans. "Psyked" is too generic for us here. I'm assuming that the Crew management spoke with him before drafting him. What are the expectations of him on the 2003 roster? With Dante possibly heading east, he may be the 4th forward. Or he may fight West for the right wing spot. What's the scoop? And welcome to C-bus.
