Just wanted to say that I hope the Rapids finish the season off on a high note. They are my pick to win MLS Cup and I truly believe they can pull it off. The team does not get very much respect beyond the hardcore fans. It's amazing that people think Chivas has a shot to pass the Rapids in the West. Will not happen. I'm serious. This team can go pretty far into the playoffs if the defense plays like it did last year and if the offense keeps pouring on the goals.
Don't worry ... KC actually takes this tournament seriously. We will not get beat by Melvin Tarley and the Thunder. That is not a knock on the Raps, as I did not see what lineup they fielded Wednesday night. But the Wizards have a title to defend, and they will not lose to a USL I team.
According to Fernando, we lost because the field was too narrow......... He's starting to sound more and more like Hankinson every day.
