One of those weird things where you wakeup in the middle of the night remember you forgot to turn off the computer, and when going to turn it off you remember that the draw for the hex had taken place.

The life of a soccer geek I guess

I think it is beneficial for Mexico to get the toughest schedule throughout the 1st leg of the hex.

Mexico will host Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago, but will travel to the US, Honduras, and El Salvador for the 1st leg of the Hex.

The game against the Spazzos is in February. They will most likely be using their euro based players and it that is so, they will have less time to prepare for it since the euro clubs do not have to release them until they are force to. If they use an MLS based squad, they will most likely be out of rhythm since their league is not active.

I think its games like Interliga that actually can serve some purpose and start getting players into form by the time the season rolls around.

    Interesting.

I like how everyone is down on us right now after the loss in Honduras, maybe the players will play as if they have something to prove now.

I know they'll be motivated to go down to Honduras, for sure.

You are correct, sir. Too many newbies in all the US-related forums simply do not understand that:

    1. it's a man's game, bitch!
    2. this game was business as usual, Sven is a Business man, he is cold as ice. What do you want? It's Honduras, not an actual WC game. All MEX needed was not to lose 3-0 in the end. And they did just that. Only a rookie would not understand when you are in a position to win by losing, you do your best to achieve that, while not cow-towing to the simpletons who cannot see a win when it stares them in the face.

Why go all out for nothing!? Who would that be for!? MEX qualified!!

What the hell else do you want? Especially with that field in San Pedro Sula that looked like it was flown in from the days of Hurricane Katrina.

    3. Honduras has a new saint: Santo Osorio!

    4. Oh. yeah, Honduras...your welcome! No sean desagradecidos catrachitos, van a sufrir en el hex...which rhymes with MEX.

Unlike last time, I don't think T&T will be in the running for anything by the time the game comes.

Wasn't it also Marquez, Arce, Torrado?

Still, Magallon will be back to score another brace:D

No he won't, Magallon is expect to return in mid-late January.

I don't think he'll be fit for this game.

I'd rather see Leobardo Lopez, Maza, Rafa, and Moreno.

Watched Maza score a great goal today with PSV. Salcido was getting pwnt left and right.

Leandro will be back and Gio will proably take over for Arce.

Winning home games is most important. We should pick up 1 or 2 on the road as well.
